CAMP - Turbohand Ascender
This ascender is designed to increase rope climbing efficiency and safety. It comes with three attachment points; two on the base and one at the top, and is constructed with 3.5mm aluminium alloy. Its roller ensures it is useable as a light haulage locking pulley (up to 50kg/110lbs - as such is not intended for use by persons). The toothed cam is designed to be wear-resistant and equipped with drainage holes to minimise the accumulation of mud and grit, and the opening system is reinforced on both sides to protect against inadvertent opening.
It is adaptable for long ascents with the purchase of a rope guide.
Standards:
- EN 12841/B for semi-static ropes ranging from 10 to 13 mm.
- EN 567 for semi-static and dynamic ropes ranging from 8 to 13 mm.
